Tim graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with degrees in Political Science & History. After binge watching The West Wing on Netflix, Tim decided to attend law school at the University of Illinois. We regularly hold this against him (Go Big Red!).

Karen, Steve, Bobby, and Tim walked into a bar...and at one point, Tim owned it.  No, seriously. Although he doesn’t know it, Tim was hired as our whiskey connoisseur because his professional experiences include working for a private law firm, a stint with the ACLU, a federal judicial internship, and most importantly, owning his own bar and restaurant.  He refuses to disclose in which of those settings he was most frequently required to tell someone that they had reached their drink limit for the night.

Tim also has experience in commercial real estate which he now puts to use in assisting schools in construction and remodel projects.  He is a self-admitted nerd who geeks out over legal issues such as data privacy, record retention, and educational technology.  In other words, he fits right in.  When he can get a word in edgewise over K, S, and B, Tim loves to speak on a variety of education-related topics.  Tim also presents on digital citizenship issues to students, parents, and others.

Tim’s wife Kasey is the Director of Rehabilitation at Old Cheney Rehabilitation, and she promises to cure all of Steve’s aches and pains someday.  Tim enjoys comic books (still not sure how we overlooked that), cooking, and golfing in his spare time.  It’s his dream to beat Bobby in golf someday, which will never happen. Tim and Kasey are parents of two adorable twins, Ruby and Wilson. Obviously, parenting toddlers has been excellent training for Tim to hang out at the KSB offices.
